Lado Apkhazawa met with teachers and students of the department.

Belatedly, we report on the end of the week, which for the UNESCO Chair on Science Education passed under the banner of cooperation between Ukraine and Georgia. On Friday, a great friend of the Chair and Ukraine came to visit us ‒ Lado (Vladimer) Apkhazava, a Georgian teacher-innovator, a finalist of the Global Teacher Prize 2019 (2nd place). Lado met with teachers and students of the Chair, once again showed solidarity with Ukraine, supporting initiatives that help Ukraine and Ukrainian education during the difficult times. During the meeting, we got acquainted with innovative practices recognized by the Global Teacher Prize of 2019, developed a roadmap for cooperation for the development of science education in the educational systems of Ukraine and Georgia.
