Presentation by the head of the UNESCO Chair, Professor Marek Kwiek.

As part of the global webinars organized by the Education University of Hong Kong, with the support of Anatoly V. Oleksiyenko (great friend of Ukraine and our Chair), the presentation by Professor Marek Kwiek (Chairholder of the UNESCO Chair in Institutional Research and Higher Education Policy at Adam Mickiewicz University of Poznań) was held today.
The teachers and Ph.D. students of the Chair got acquainted with modern methods of solving problems of quantitative assessment of the success of an academic career in the global era, determining the dynamics of gender equality trends in various fields of knowledge, the possibilities of analyzing Big Data from the scientometric systems such as Scopus, Web of Science, etc. In addition to the organizing countries, experts from Ukraine, Turkey, etc. were present.
The event laid the medium-term prospects of using the presented methods to analyze the challenges of the development of the Ukrainian education and science system, taking into account the migration dynamics caused by large-scale military aggression on the part of the russian federation.
