Open Lecture by Dr. Michael Phillips (University of Doha for Science and Technology, Qatar)

On April 15, 2026, a speech was given by Dr. Michael Phillips, the Director of Applied Research, Innovation and Economic Development at the University of Doha for Science and Technology (UDST), the coordinator of the UNESCO-UNEVOC Center, an internationally recognized expert on TVET ‒ an education system that combines theoretical knowledge with practical skills to prepare for specific professions and is aimed at developing competencies in demand on the labor market.

The event gathered more than 100 listeners and had a long, intensive discussion. The event was organized using the capabilities of the UNITWIN / UNESCO Chairs program. The Qatari-Ukrainian Business Forum also made a significant contribution to the event's organization.
