Participation in the meeting of the National Commission for UNESCO

On January 30, the next meeting of the National Commission for UNESCO under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine took place. The Chairman of the UNESCO Chair on Science Education took part in this extraordinary event, which summarized the National Commission's work in 2025 across the following sectors: culture and cultural heritage; natural heritage; education; science; youth and sports; gender equality; and communication and information. In 2025, important for Ukrainian and global science education that UNESCO approved the International Day of Involvement in Science for Sustainable Development (celebrated annually on November 27). The initiator of this event was our strategic partner - the UNESCO Center of the 2nd category "Junior Academy of Sciences of Ukraine".
