Annual All-Ukrainian Scientific Pi-Conference on occasion of the International Day of Mathematics

On November 26, 2019, at the 40th session of the UNESCO General Conference, declared March 14 the International Day of Mathematics. As the Official Ambassador of the International Day of Mathematics, the National Center “Junior Academy of Sciences of Ukraine" has been organizing the All-Ukrainian Scientific Pi-Conference for schoolchildren and students for many years. The event aims to popularize mathematics, engage youth in science education, exchange educational practices in mathematics, and celebrate the successes of young Ukrainian mathematicians.

The initiative for the annual celebration of the International Day of Mathematics in Ukraine is of a large-scale nature, which involved for several weeks the branches of the Junior Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in all regions, leading universities, schools of the Associated UNESCO Schools network in Ukraine, and everyone who cares about the development of mathematics in our country. Among the traditional partners of the event are Dragomanov Ukrainian State University and the UNESCO Chair on Science Education in particular. This year, the annual Pi-conference took place within the walls of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv Metropolitan University.
