New international opportunities for the professional growth of the Chair staff in cooperation with the Asia-Pacific Career Development Association (APCDA)
On March 11, the UNESCO Chair representatives, together with our partners from Hryhorii Skovoroda University in Pereiaslav, Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University, and National Academy of Managerial Staff of Culture and Arts, participated in a Zoom meeting with the leaders of the Asia-Pacific Career Development Association (the APCDA President, Dr. Serene Lin-Stephens; the APCDA President-Elect, Mr. Allan Gatenby; and Secretary and BoD Member, Mrs. Sini Parampota).
The meeting afforded the Chair a unique opportunity to take advantage of the global forum for getting aquatinted with the prospects of taking part in a series of year-long events (webinars and conferences) that are aimed at sharing various career development ideas, research, and educational techniques which are effectively practiced in the Asia-Pacific region as well as throughout the world with a special emphasis on wartime career counseling experiences. We are enormously grateful to the Asia-Pacific Career Development Association for this opportunity to develop our professional skills as new APCDA members and share new ideas in the Ukrainian higher education area!
