Professional growth of Chair staff at the Kyiv School of Public Administration named after Serhiy Nyzhnyy

On March 1, 2024, Galyna Bondarenko, Associate Professor of the UNESCO Chair on Science Education, began her studies at the Kyiv School of Public Administration named after Serhiy Nyzhnyy on the course “Education for the Success of Ukrainians. Educational Policy and Educational Technologies for Postwar Ukraine” under the mentorship of Lilia Hrynevych (Minister of Education and Science in 2016-2019).

The practical-oriented course is devoted to the topical issue of educational policy formation during the war and in the post-war period, new contents of education, key competencies, cross-cutting skills for the future, and innovative trends in education. The result of the training will also be the author's project of the participant, which will offer educational policy tools for the development of science education.

The specifics of modern educational policy strategies are revealed to the project participants by professional speakers ‒ Roman Shiyan, Deputy Director of the New Ukrainian School Reform Support Team of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine; Ilya Filipov, co-founder and CEO of EdEra; Oleh Fasolya, Head of the education support committee at the local and regional level of the Swedish-Ukrainian project “Supporting decentralization in Ukraine”; Yurii Hayduchenko, expert of the "Learning Together” project, methodologist, trainer-expert of NGO “Osvitoria”; Yanina Khizhinska, director of Unique Hub, author of the course for children “Master of Neural Networks”.
