The signing of the Memorandum on Cooperation between the Ukrainian Network of UNESCO Chairs and the Ukrainian Peace Council

On February 29, 2024, an event took place which should catalyze the activities of the state, non-governmental organizations, and UNESCO Chairs in the issue of spreading the principles of peacebuilding. The Memorandum on cooperation between the Ukrainian network of UNESCO Chairs and the Ukrainian Peace Council was signed in the premises of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, aimed at the practical implementation of universal values of peace and the implementation of peacebuilding initiatives. The initiative’s signatories were the Ukrainian Peace Council, the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, the National Center “Junior Academy of Sciences of Ukraine” and twelve UNESCO Chairs in Ukraine.
