Participation in the first meeting of presidents of academies of sciences and rectors of leading universities of the Republic of Turkey

Today was the first day of the meeting of presidents of academies of sciences and rectors of leading universities of the Republic of Turkey "Strengthening scientific and educational cooperation between member states of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation", organized by Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation. Ukraine was represented at the event by the President of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Anatoly Zahorodniy; the President of the Junior Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Stanislav Dovhyi; the head of the International Relations Department of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Anatoliy Myronchuk, and the Chairman of the UNESCO Chair on Science Education of Dragomanov Ukrainian State University, Denys Svyrydenko. The meeting was attended by presidents of national academies of Turkey, Georgia, Romania, etc., and rectors of leading Turkish universities. Contacts were developed to intensify scientific and educational cooperation in the Black Sea region.
